International Project Management Association (IPMA)

About the IPMA:

The IPMA is recognized worldwide as a leader in promoting best practices in project, programme and project portfolio management.


The IPMA is comprised of over 50 National Project Management Associations that are spread out throughout the world. Their council of member associations include project management executives, trainers, consultants anothers in the field. There is a member association in each country, which serves as a prime contact for those in their respective countries who are interested in all things related to project management. The Project Management Association of Canada/Association de gestion de projet du Canada (PMAC-AGPC)


The PMAC is Canada’s newest and fastest-growing project management association. It is also part of the International Project Management Association and is their member association for Canada. It serves to showcase project management in a “Canadian” voice. This includes: Helping the profession grow in a bilingual country ; Explore the technical, behavioural, and contextual parts of project management ; Focusing on project success and ensuring that multiple and varied industries appreciate project outcomes

    The APM promotes and develops project and programme management through their FIVE Dimensions of Professionalism: Breadth, depth, achievement, commitment, accountability. Based in the UK, the PAM is the largest project management association in Europe.
